SINGLE ISSUE AD PRICES FOR 2008

Full Page ad: $ 200.00 per issue      

Half Page ad:  $ 125.00 per issue

Quarter page: $ 75.00 per issue    

Bus Card ads: $ 25.00 per issue

The following are the prices, per issue,
for ads that are
purchased and prepaid as a single purchase for the 2008 season.

1 Full Page Ad $200.00 per issue when purchased and paid for one ad at a time.

2 Full Page Ads $190.00 each issue

3-5 Full Page Ads $180.00 per issue

6 Full Page Ads $170.00 per issue

1 or 2 Half Page Ads $125.00 per issue

3-5 Half Page Ads $110.00 per issue

6 Half Page Ads $100.00 per issue

1 or 2 quarter Page Ads $75.00 per issue

3-5 Quarter Page Ads $65.00 per issue

6 Quarter page ads $55.00 per issue

Business card ads $25.00 per issue or $20.00 per issue
when you purchase all six issues at the beginning of the season.

AD COPY SPECIFICATIONS

If you want to place an ad, but need us to design it, or want to include photos or ad slicks, just give me a call.  
Design charges may apply.
Please call at least a week before the deadline if at all possible so that we can discuss your needs.

Ads can be submitted by mail (hard copy or disk) or electronically
(fax copy will be accepted only for verification), see the guidelines below .  
No fax’d originals will be accepted.  

Ad sizes are:

Full Page                    9-3/4” wide X 12” tall

Half Page                  9-3/4” wide X 5-7/8” tall

Quarter Page             4-3/4” wide X 5-7/8” tall

Bus Card Size              3-1/2" wide X 3” tall *

  *Copy for business card ad, is not limited to business card only.  
You can include information about hours of operation, directions, whatever you want the riders to know.

Full and quarter page ads can be submitted on an 8-1/2 X 11 “ piece of white paper.  
These ads are portrait or vertical (taller than they are wide).   We will resize them to fit.
Horizontal half page ads are  landscape orientation( or sideways ) on 8-1/2” X 11” piece of paper.
Vertical half page ads are portrait orientation.   ALL ADS ON WHITE PAPER ONLY, please!

If the ad will be designed and submitted electronically, the following guidelines apply.  
Remember we ALWAYS need a hard copy for verification of ad content. Submit on 3.5” floppy, CD or zip disk.  
Mac platform, Quark Express 4.0, Adobe Illustrator 8.0, Photoshop 5.5 or older versions.
Ads must include fonts, photos and hard copy composite proof.  
Ad elements must be bitmap, in grayscale or CMYK color (not RGB) without compression, tiff or EPS format.
Photos minimum 200 pixels/dpi.  
Photos and logos from a website or digital camera may print poorly depending on resolution.

*Issues will be delivered bulk rate to arrive in riders’ hands between the 10th and 20th of the issue month.

REPORTERS, and PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME TO SUBMIT IDEAS AND STORIES ABOUT
  EVENTS, RIDERS, CLUBS, PROMOTERS, SPONSORS.

Promoters, encourage your riders and fans to cover your events for RiderNews.

If you want to submit a story, just check with Jayne to be sure
